I am an author and writer of lyrical fiction and narrative nonfiction books for children.

My writing addresses social and emotional themes, difference, neurodivergence, and the transformative power of art. I am drawn to characters who struggle to find their place in the world or march to the beat of their own drum. I believe in the healing power of stories. 

 

Books have always helped me feel seen and understood. I aspire, in some modest way, to create books that do the same for children.
