ABOUT CHRISTINE
Christine believes in the power of art to transform, to heal, and to ask important questions. As a survivor of mental illness, she engages with difficult socio-emotional themes, experiences of difference, and the power of creative expression in her writing.
Christine holds a PhD in Social & Political Thought (her thesis on the subject capitalist ruins) from York University and studied visual art at NSCAD. She lives with her family and an imaginary mouse in the Eastern Townships of Quebec where she joyfully homeschools her two children.
