ABOUT CHRISTINE
For Christine, books have always been great friends and companions. From a young age, they helped her understand her sense of being different, of not-quite-fitting in the world. And they opened up a world of experiences outside of her own. Her stories are inspired by difference, her deep love of nature, and everyday enchantment.
Christine is a highly-sensitive person who identifies as neurodivergent. Having lived with mental illness, her writing engages with socio-emotional themes and the transformative power of creative expression. Mama of two, she homeschools her neurodivergent son.
Christine holds a PhD in Social & Political Thought and studied Art at NSCAD. She lives with her family and an imaginary mouse in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
Her work won CANSCAIP's Writing for Children Award.
